DEN Smoking Policy

Denver International Airport is a 100% non-smoking facility indoors. This includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and vaping devices. Since March 1, 2018, the airport has been completely smoke-free indoors to support public health and keep the air clean.

However, for the smokers, designated smoking areas are available outside the terminal, but they are only before security. So, after going through TSA security, passengers can’t smoke until they exit the terminal again.

If travellers have a layover or a long wait and want to smoke, they need to exit the Jeppesen Terminal, use one of the outdoor smoking areas and re-enter the terminal and go through TSA security again.

This can take extra time, so be sure to plan if you think you’ll need a smoking break.
